February is Black History Month. Sixth, seventh and eighth-grade students are studying events that took place during the civil rights movement and African Americans who played a key role in history. In eighth-grade, students are working in groups to create posters detailing their chosen historical figure’s accomplishments. The posters will be used to create a Black History Gallery.
